Marcus Wright, former bodyguard to late Jackson Mayor Frank Melton, was sentenced today to one year probation and a $500 fine. This after he made a plea deal with federal prosecutors in exchange for his testimony against Melton. Wright was also slated to testify against another former bodyguard of Melton, Michael Recio.
